ACT 2023

On the most important days of my life, I have developed a ritual I would like to share.

I start the morning meditating for 15 minutes, reciting affirmations that I will not be nervous, I have done my best to prepare and I will do well. I believe the affirmations of positive thinking can create powerful positive energy. At the testing center, I try to remain calm. The next step is consuming a high-protein shake; I blend peanut butter, spinach, whey protein, and blueberries. This shake sustains me during the 4-hour exam. I visualize the test and calmly I imagine working problem by problem. At the testing center, I try to remain calm for the exam, rather than focusing on the questions I potentially missed, I will go play tennis. This allows me not to fixate on what will be. The test is done, and now I focus on the next task at hand.
